About The Band

Dive headfirst into the electrifying world of the Wave Raiders, a dynamic trio of young punk rock prodigies with the energy of a lightning storm and manners that would make your Nanna proud. Their stage presence is nothing short of electric, and their musical prowess is simply unbelievable. What’s the most jaw-dropping part? They’re not even old enough to drive!

Imagine this. The Caloundra Music Festival is set ablaze as the Wave Raiders crash onto the main stage alongside Spiderbait, taking thousands of fans on a musical rollercoaster ride that leaves them screaming, “I can’t believe they’re kids”! Their performance is so intoxicating, that Spiderbait couldn’t resist but ask for an encore collaboration.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, the Wave Raiders draw inspiration from global legends like Blink 182 and Green Day and they’ve shared the spotlight with other industry greats like James Reyne, Kingswood, and Choir Boys. Their songs are catchy tales of sun-soaked adventures, and they tackle the real issues that resonate with the youth of today.

The Wave Raiders have already taken the music scene by storm, gracing stages at renowned festivals and venues in their very first year, including the Byron Bay Bluesfest, Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Caloundra Music Festival, Kick Ass Music and Camping Festival, Buskers by the Lake Festival and many more.

These young punk rock rebels have left their mark in the studio too, recently recording their first single with Steve James, an internationally renowned producer, Grammy nominee and Aria Award winner, who has produced bands such as The Screaming Jets, The Angels, Cold Chisel, and Skunkhour. A sneak peak of their upcoming single on ABC Radio sent shockwaves through the airwaves earning massive acclaim from listeners and social media.

Meet the masterminds behind the music – Pete, the 14-year-old frontman extraordinaire on lead guitar and vocals, and the rhythmic prodigies, 12-year-old Tom on drums, and 12-year-old Jayden on bass guitar and vocals. They possess passion, undeniable natural talent and were born for the stage!
