About The Band
Wave Raiders, a trio of alternative rock disruptors from the Sunshine Coast, aren’t here to blend in – they’re here to smash cliches and carve out their own identity.
These stage-shredders have unleashed chaos on tour with The Screaming Jets, jolted 10,000 fans when they played with Spiderbait at the Caloundra Music Festival, and left their mark on the nation’s top festivals, from Bluesfest Byron Bay to Airlie Beach Festival of Music.
Now, they’re diving headfirst into their debut EP*, armed with the guidance of Cameron McGlinchey from The Screaming Jets and Rogue Traders and an internationally renowned Producer, Steve James, at the helm. Steve James is the Aria Award winning and Grammy-nominated legend behind The Screaming Jets, The Angels, and Cold Chisel.
Wave Raiders can pull a crowd. Their debut single launch exploded, with a sold out show to 450 at the Solbar, Maroochydore.
They were finalists in the 2025 Sunshine Coast Music Awards for the ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Young Artist of the Year’ Awards. Add a killer collab with Sarah McLeod and a support with The Superjesus on tour, and their story keeps getting louder.
Wave Raiders aren’t just riding the wave – they are the wave. Unpredictable. Loud. Impossible to ignore.
